Please note that our seclusion is our luxury: the homestay is accessible via a scenic 1.5 km uphill trek from Harsil main town, ensuring absolute peace away from the crowds.

It's an uphill trek of around 1km from Harshil
- Parking is available from where the uphill trek starts.
- Since this is an uphill trek, help will be offered to carry your luggage but it’ll be chargeable
(nominal charges)
- Check-in time- 2pm onwards
- Check-out time- 11 am
- Food is served in the common room only.
- Breakfast timing- 8-10 am
- Lunch timing- 1-3pm
- Dinner timing- 7-9pm
- Self service is highly appreciated.
- Breakfast, lunch and dinner will be pre-decided by the hosts depending on the availability of
vegetables and other things.
- If you’d like us to prepare something of your choice, please inform us well in advance (around 3
hour prior).
- If you want to cook your own food, please do so but it’ll be chargeable.
- we request you to keep your room and washroom clean.
- Any damage to the property will be chargeable.
- Pets are not allowed at the property.
- Solar heater is available for bathing. If the weather is cloudy, please ask for a bucket of hot
water. Also, please avoid washing clothes with hot water.
- Smoking is allowed but not in rooms.
PoliciesOur staying policy for Himalaya Vista "Home Stay" requires a minimum 5 day stay. The minimum 5 days stay is because it is a 1.5kms uphill trek from Harsil on the main highway, therefor it will not be possible to manage staff going back and forth up and down for a less-than-5-day stay.
