  • On the accommodation’s listing page (before you book).

  • During the booking confirmation process.

  • In your booking confirmation email.

  • In your “My Bookings” section on Staydaze.com.

It is crucial that you carefully review and understand the specific cancellation policy for the property you intend to book before confirming your reservation.


2. Flexible vs. Non-Refundable Rates

  • Flexible/Standard Rates: These rates typically allow for cancellations up to a certain point before check-in, often with a full refund. A penalty (e.g., one night’s charge) may apply if cancelled after the free cancellation period.

  • Non-Refundable/Advance Purchase Rates: These rates are generally offered at a lower price in exchange for stricter cancellation terms. Cancellations made for these bookings typically result in no refund, regardless of when the cancellation occurs.


3. Cancellation Deadlines and Time Zones

  • Cancellation deadlines are usually specified in the local time zone of the property. For example, “Free cancellation up to 24 hours before check-in” means 24 hours prior to the standard check-in time of the property.

  • Cancellations must be processed through your Staydaze.com account to be valid and timestamped.


4. How to Cancel Your Booking

  • To cancel a reservation, log in to your Staydaze.com account.

  • Go to the “My Bookings” or “Upcoming Stays” section.

  • Select the relevant booking and follow the instructions for cancellation.

  • You will receive a confirmation email once your cancellation is successfully processed.


5. Refund Process and Timelines

  • If your booking is eligible for a refund according to the property’s cancellation policy, the refund will be processed by Inicedo Media Pvt. Ltd.

  • Refunds are typically credited back to the original payment method used for the booking.

  • The time it takes for the refund to appear in your account may vary depending on your bank or payment provider (typically 5–10 business days, but can take longer in some cases).


6. No-Shows

  • If you do not arrive at the property on the scheduled check-in date without prior cancellation, your booking will be considered a “no-show.”

  • No-show policies vary by property but commonly result in the forfeiture of the entire booking amount or a significant penalty.


7. Modifications vs. Cancellations

  • Requests for modifications (e.g., changing dates, extending stay) are subject to the property’s availability and discretion.

  • Modifications might also be treated as cancellations and new bookings, subject to the prevailing rates and cancellation policies.


8. Exceptional Circumstances (Force Majeure)

  • In rare cases of extreme circumstances beyond a guest’s control (e.g., natural disasters, government travel restrictions), Inicedo Media Pvt. Ltd. may, at its sole discretion and in consultation with the property, review cancellation requests.

  • Documentation may be required for such requests. Standard cancellation policies generally apply unless specifically stated otherwise.
