This small yet striking temple, with its South Indian-style five-tiered Shikara, is a vital pilgrimage site in the Shaivism tradition. Aundha Nagnath: Situated in Hingoli district, this temple is considered the first Jyotirlinga, linked to the Pandavas’ exile.
Its sprawling 60,000 sq ft Hemadpanthi architecture reflects a timeless devotion to Lord Shiva. Parli Vaijnath: Nestled on a hill in Parli, this majestic Jyotirlinga temple faces east with a serene ambiance. Renovated by Ahilyabai Holkar, it stands as a testament to both history and faith. Bhimashankar: Tucked in the Sahyadri forests, Bhimashankar’s Jyotirlinga temple is surrounded by lush greenery and tied to the legend of the Asura Bhima. It’s a place where nature and divinity intertwine.

Aurangabad – Aundha Nagnath – Parli
Parli Vaijnath – Ozar Post-breakfast, check out and travel to the Parli Vaijnath Jyotirlinga temple, an impressive structure perched on a hill. Facing east, it has entrances from the south and north. The temple, once in ruins, was restored by Ahilyabai Holkar. After Darshan, head to Ozar, where you’ll check into a hotel for an overnight stay.
Ozar – Bhimashankar – Mumbai After breakfast, check out and make your way to Bhimashankar. Nestled in the dense Dakini forests of the Sahyadri ranges, this site is tied to the tale of the wicked Asura Bhima, son of Karkati. Bhima’s reign struck fear into both divine beings and mortals, yet he grappled with existential questions that haunted him. After Darshan, return to Mumbai to conclude the journey.
