Begin your scenic drive to Kaziranga National Park, passing traditional Assamese villages and serene fishponds along the way. En route, visit the Maha Mrityunjay Temple, home to one of the largest Shiva Lingas in India. On arrival in Kaziranga, check in to your hotel and relax for the evening. Set out early for a thrilling jeep safari in Kaziranga National Park, famous for its one-horned rhinoceroses, elephants, deer, and rich birdlife (tiger sightings are rare but possible). An optional elephant safari is available at an additional cost. Enjoy lunch at a local lodge. Later, visit the Kaziranga Orchid and Biodiversity Park, which showcases native orchids, traditional Assamese houses, and cultural exhibits. Watch vibrant cultural performances at the park before returning to your hotel. After breakfast, drive to Shillong (approximately 7–8 hours). Stop at the picturesque Umiam Lake for photos and refreshments. Upon arrival in Shillong, check in to your hotel and rest.

Shillong Local Sightseeing
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel. Visit Laitlum Canyon for breathtaking panoramic views of rolling hills and deep gorges. Explore the ancient Mawphlang Sacred Grove, known for its unique biodiversity and cultural significance. Proceed to Elephant Falls, a beautiful three-tiered waterfall. In the evening, explore Police Bazaar for shopping, local food, and culture. Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
Shillong – Mawlynnong – Dawki
After an early breakfast, travel to Mawlynnong, often called Asia’s cleanest village. Stroll through the village, interact with locals, and visit the nearby single-root bridge. Continue to Dawki and set up camp beside the crystal-clear Umngot River. Enjoy a cozy campfire and dinner by the riverside.
Dawki Activities & Transfer to Cherrapunji
Begin your morning with boating on the Umngot River, with options for kayaking and water activities. Later, drive to Cherrapunji and check in to your hotel. Spend the rest of the day relaxing or exploring the misty surroundings. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.
Cherrapunji Sightseeing & Return to Shillong
After breakfast, explore Mawsmai Caves, known for their impressive limestone formations. Visit the majestic Nohkalikai Falls, the tallest plunge waterfall in India. Continue to Wei Sawdong Falls and the scenic Garden of Caves. In the evening, drive back to Shillong and check in to your hotel.
Shillong to Guwahati – Departure
After breakfast, check out from your hotel and drive back to Guwahati (approximately 3–4 hours). Depart for home with unforgettable memories of your Northeast India adventure.
