The Kalsubai Trek & Camping adventure invites you to scale the legendary Kalsubai Peak—the highest point in Maharashtra at 1,646 meters, rising proudly inside the beautiful Kalsubai–Harishchandragad Wildlife Sanctuary. Steeped in cultural significance, the peak is named after a village woman, Kalsubai, and crowned with a small hilltop temple, giving this journey both a spiritual and adventurous touch. Your ascent from Bari village takes you through enchanting forest trails, sturdy metal ladders, and rocky terrains, each turn revealing sweeping views of the mighty Sahyadris. From the summit, iconic peaks like Harishchandragad, Alang–Madan–Kulang (AMK), Ratangad, and Brahmagiri paint a dramatic skyline. Winter makes it even better—with crisp air, clear starry nights, and incredible visibility all along the climb.

The camping experience at nearly 5,000 ft is pure magic. Enjoy a golden sunset, warm up by a cozy bonfire, pitch your tents, play fun games, and unwind under a glittering winter sky. At dawn, a short ascent brings you to the top just in time for an unforgettable sunrise that lights up the entire range in shades of gold and orange. After exploring the peak, relishing breakfast, and soaking in the views, you descend back to the base with a heart full of memories.
