Popti Feast & Camping

Popti is a traditional get together food party (bbq style) of north konkan. With the fall of temperature, there is a presentiment of popti parties everywhere. Popti is made in a clay pot,which resembles tandoor. but food made in popti has the unique taste which lasts on your tongue all the time and the memories of it in your mind. With simple clay pots, bhamburdi (local herb) & carom seeds , we roast waal pods (a kind of beans),peas, eggplant, onions, potatoes, eggs, chicken and all veg delicacy to its heavenly taste and finally serve it with love.

05:30 pm Reach campsite near Sondewadi, Karjat and freshen up 06:00 pm Post Evening Tea, Allotment of tents to participants. Get ready for the chill to set in along with a popti feast on it way 10:00 am Leave the campsite with happy memories Please Note: This is a campsite-to-campsite package. Participants are required to report directly at the base village at their own arrangement. Those traveling by local train may avail of shared auto-rickshaw services from Karjat Railway Station to the campsite. The charges for the same shall be borne directly by the participants on a per-person basis. Popti Feast (Vegetarian or Non-Vegetarian, based on overall participant preference count)
