Matheran Trek via Katwan

Nestled between mountain range of Matheran is a small village Katwan. Little away from hustle bustle of busy life, The village has a gift of nature. Greenery all around, Protected by mountains and adorned by little waterfalls. Walk till Katwan is quite easier with little ascend. Though once we oass the village the trek till Matheran is steep in patches.

Day 0: 23:00 Meet the Trikon Team at Karjat Station. 23:10 Start journey towards Pokhrewadi (base village)Day 1: 23:30 Start Trekking towards Katwan 01:00 Reach Katwan, Rest for sometime 05:00 Wake up call, Start trek Towards Matheran 07:00 Reach Matheran Via Madhavji Point 08:00 Breakfast Tea at Matheran 09:00 Move towards Dasturi Park Gate 09:30 Take cab towards Neral Station 10:00 Reach Neral 12:00 Reach Mumbai Tentatively Please try to board the first compartment from Karjat side.
