Kavnai Fort Trek

Nestled amongst the quaint villages of Igatpuri (On the way from Mumbai-Nashik Highway), Kavnai Fort stands as one of the least explored mountain climbs in the Sahyadri ranges. Along easy climbs and rough patches, you’ll be able to conquer the ascend with final rock-cut steps. The fort embarks a small lake along with several temples dedicated to Goddess Parvati along with Lord Ganesha and Hanuman. With a commanding view of the surrounding villages and also a lake on top, Kavnai is a well-rounded trek, that can satisfy your thirst for weekend travel!

05:50 a.m: Meet The Trikon Buddies Kotak Mahindra Bank ATM, Near Pritam Hotel, Dadar East 06:30 a.m: Pickup from Teen Hath Naka Junction, Thane 09:00 a.m: Reach base village and have breakfast 09:30 a.m: Commence trekking 11:30 a.m: Reach the top and explore the fort 01:30 p.m: Start descending 03:30 p.m: Reach base village and have evening tea/coffee 04:30 p.m: Start return journey 07:30 p.m: Reach Mumbai (Depends on the traffic) Each member of the group (participants/leaders/ clients & staff) wears protective mask while on interaction with each other. Do carry few unused, disposable masks. It is strongly recommended to wear caps, full sleeves shirts and full trousers and shoes for adventure activities. It reduces exposure of your body parts.
