About this tour

Overview:

The Everest Base Camp Trek is a dream journey for both aspiring and experienced trekkers alike. Widely regarded as one of the most iconic trekking experiences in the world, the trek offers a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to witness the grandeur of the world’s highest mountain range up close. Among the many routes leading to Everest Base Camp, the trail through Gokyo Ri remains one of the most scenic and sought-after paths.

This route offers a perfect blend of adventure, mountain landscapes, and cultural immersion. Along the journey, trekkers not only move closer to the majestic Everest region but also experience the lifestyle, traditions, and natural beauty of the Himalayan communities living in these remote mountain valleys.

Trekkers are also rewarded with stunning sights of Makalu, Lhotse, and the majestic Cho Oyu, considered one of the most beautiful mountain views in the world.

The trail further showcases the magnificent Ngozumpa Glacier, the largest glacier in Nepal, stretching dramatically across the Himalayan landscape. Adding to the beauty of the journey are the famous Gokyo Lakes — a series of stunning turquoise and emerald alpine lakes surrounded by snow-covered peaks and rugged mountain terrain. These serene landscapes create some of the most unforgettable moments of the trek.

One of the most unique aspects of the Everest Base Camp Trek is the extreme altitude gained throughout the journey, with sections reaching elevations of around 17000 ft above sea level.
