Arrival in Udupi – Temple Darshan & Rest
11:26 AM: Arrive in Udupi. On arrival in Udupi, check into your hotel and freshen up. Visit the sacred Udupi Sri Krishna Temple for darshan. The temple atmosphere during monsoon is calm and less crowded, making it ideal for a peaceful visit. Spend the rest of the day at leisure. overnight in Udupi.
Udupi → Karkala → Sringeri
After an early breakfast, begin your road journey. First, drive to Karkala (about 1–1.5 hours). Visit the majestic Gomateshwara Statue, situated on a hill with beautiful monsoon views. Continue your journey towards Sringeri through lush Western Ghats. Expect fog, greenery, and occasional heavy rain—this is one of the most scenic stretches of your trip. On arrival, visit the revered Sringeri Sharada Peetham on the banks of the Tunga River. Stay overnight in Srin
Sringeri → Horanadu → Dharmasthala
Begin early in the morning and head to Horanadu (approx. 2 hours). Visit the divine Annapoorneshwari Temple, known for its hospitality and prasadam meals. After darshan, continue towards Dharmasthala. This route passes through dense forest and ghat sections. Reach Dharmasthala by evening and visit the famous Dharmasthala Manjunatha Temple. Stay overnight in Dharmasthala.
Dharmasthala → Mangalore
Wake up early and proceed to Mangalore. Reach Mangalore railway station and board your return train to Mumbai. Return Journey: Take the 12620 Matsygandha Express train back to Mumbai. (Meal - Breakfast)
